Thankful...

As the year ends, I have had the chance for so many blessings and the chance to reflect on how thankful I am for.....
1) a loving husband. Cory is a wonderful husband, father, and friend. I know that I do not tell him enough, but I love him and appreciate who he is.

2) a car that runs. We just visited my inlaws and drove from Georgia to Arkansas without having to worry about the car breaking down.

3) low gas prices. It is so much nicer filling up for $1.45/gallon than the $4/gallon we were paying months ago.

4) my friends. I was a bit worried and sad to move away from my mom and friends in Nebraska. Since moving here though, I have had the chance to meet so many of my friends whom I had met online before moving to Georgia. This week I've had the chance to spend girl time with my friends scrapping and hanging out. Alex and Ian have also had the chance to meet new friends too, since some of my friends have kids too.

Getting a Jumpstart on 2009

Well, earlier this year, month to be exact, I thought I would go ahead and set up a blog. As much as I am on the computer, I figured that I might as well put my thoughts out there for all to read and comment on. I also know that once I really get started on writing my dissertation that the time I spend putting down the "little" things that happen will be great to have and look back on, especially when I have the chance to scrapbook.
